La Fondazione per
la Cultura Italiana

The Foundation for Italian Culture was established on February 3, 2023, by Mr. Benedetto Fu with the mission of protecting, preserving, and promoting Italy’s rich cultural heritage, both within our country and internationally. Our goal is to safeguard Italian culture as a true expression of our national identity, reflected in the traditions, arts, cuisine, language, music, and all the aspects that shape our daily lives.

Italian culture is a universally recognized and admired heritage, one that enriches and unites people across the globe. The Foundation is committed to strengthening this global connection. We believe that each individual, with their passion and dedication, plays a role in the evolution and dissemination of this cultural legacy.

For us, culture is not merely a collection of traditions, but a driving force for growth and innovation. It is a force that fosters dialogue between generations, between different social realities, and among nations. The Foundation aims to be a hub for all those, both in Italy and worldwide, who share the same commitment to promoting Italian culture in all its forms.

In an increasingly globalized world, it is essential for Italian culture to continue to thrive and evolve without losing its authenticity. The Foundation is open to partnerships with institutions, organizations, artists, and international collaborators who share our vision and ambitions, working together to contribute to the cultural, educational, and social growth of our country and beyond.

Together, we can elevate Italian culture, making it more accessible and appreciated, and proudly passing it on to future generations.

The primary goal of the Department of Italian Culture is to sponsor and support researchers and scholars engaged in studying Italian history, encouraging research projects that explore the richness of our cultural heritage and its many facets. Thanks to the partnership with the Remarque Institute, a leading global research center, the department offers development opportunities for young scholars, facilitating access to resources, scholarships, and research programs that enable them to explore Italian culture in an innovative and interdisciplinary manner.

This collaboration represents another important step for the Foundation in internationalizing Italian cultural identity, aiming to establish Italy as a global academic hub. The dialogue with internationally renowned institutions, such as the Remarque Institute, allows for a broader perspective on Italian culture, not only from a national viewpoint but also in a global context, encouraging cross-cultural exchanges and the sharing of research methodologies.

Through the Department of Italian Culture, the Foundation not only stimulates academic production related to the historical, artistic, and social development of Italy but also contributes to the preservation and enhancement of our cultural roots, making them accessible to new generations and a growing international audience.
